Yes. You can use two miners separately for each type of cards (For example, Gminer for NVIDIA and Lolminer for AMD). You cannot use different miners for one type of card (in the case when the rig consists only of AMD or NVIDIA).

3. CAN I ENABLE CPU MINING?
No. RaveOS does not support CPU mining for now. We will add this in the future. Follow the news!
4. HOW MANY GPUS IN ONE RIG DOES RAVEOS SUPPORT?

You can use up to 19 GPUs, but we do not recommend using more than 12 GPUs, some mining software will not work properly. If you have problems running a large number of GPUs, check the recommended BIOS settings.

5. HOW CAN I UPDATE THE SYSTEM TO THE LATEST VERSION?

You can upgrade the system by running the upgrade
( upgrade -b latest for 1.0.24 or older versions) command on your rig. The latest version is available at raveos.com.

For a correct update, we recommend using the following sequence of actions:

1. Stop mining (Actions-Pause)
2. Restart the worker (Actions-Reboot)
3. Update with the upgrade -b command (after a successful update, the rig will automatically restart)
4. Start mining.

6. WHY RAVEOS IS NOT BOOTING?

1. Please review the minimum system requirements, check your hardware for malfunction, and ensure your BIOS setting is set to recommend.

• Turn on the integrated graphics and set the memory allocation value for it as small as possible

7. CAN I USE EXTERNAL API FOR DEVELOPERS?

Yes. You can create and start using Api Keys in your Account/Security section to execute various commands from your own toolbar or software.
Please notice: Api functionality is only available for paid tariff plans.

8. WHY MY RIG IS CRASHING AND FREEZING TOO MUCH?

1. Settings. Too much overclocking or undervolting (or custom bios with wrong settings). Try to low your overclock values. If you have custom bios then check if flashing the original one will fix the problem.
2. Bad riser. Low-quality risers are very common in causing many problems. Change the riser or use better ones and see if that will help. Try checking GPUs one by one. Maybe one of them is causing problems.
3. Power supply. A sudden stop or restart may be caused by a weak power supply. If the room temperature is too high, the power supply may overheat and simply turn off.

9. WHAT ARE THE REMOTE CONSOLE SSH DEFAULT LOGIN/PASSWORD AND HOW TO CHANGE THEM?

10. HOW I CAN MODIFY VBIOS IN RAVEOS?
All VBIOS modifications you are doing at your own risk!

To download VBIOS, you need to go to the Hardware tab of your риг, open the menu in the BIOS column and click [Get]. It will start the process of creating a download link. If your system does not boot from the HDD, check the SATA operation mode in the BIOS. ACHI mode must be set.

13. HOW CAN I SEE THE SYSTEM LOGS?

RaveOS is a live system, so logs are not saved after a reboot. You can view the current ones at the path /var/log/app/.

To enable saving logs after a system reboot:

• run the log-on command in the riga terminal.
• restart the rig.

You can find and view the saved system logs at /appdata/logs/. After fixing the errors, we recommend turning off saving with the logoff command

14. CAN I USE MY OWN SCRIPTS IN THE SYSTEM?

1. Add them to /app-data/scripts. If there is no directory, create it by yourself.
2. Scripts must be init.d format. The script name must starts with S. Example: S01user_script.sh
3. Grant the script execution rights.
   Example: chmod +x /app-data/scripts/S01user_script.sh
4. IMPORTANT! The script should not block the thread.

15. I CANNOT DOWNLOAD SYSTEM UPDATES / MINERS. WHAT IS WRONG?

a. HTTPS disable (trouble downloading miners issue)

1. Go to Account-Configuration menu
2. Switch to disable HTTPS.

Reapply Mining task on the worker after changing.

b. Most likely, there was a problem with the media markup during flashing. Check the amount of free disk space on the System Info tab. If you see that the total volume is about 500MB follow these steps:

1. Stop mining on your device (Action-Pause)
2. Run the command on your rig Console: resize-os

After the worker restarts the “Free disk space” should display the correct media volume value. Miners and updates will be downloaded correctly.

For older versions, use the following sequence of actions:

1. Stop mining on your device (Action-Pause)
2. Run the command: curl-s https://image.raveos.com/tools/fix-disk-step1.sh | /bin/sh -s
3. Wait for the device to reboot
4. Run the command: curl -s https://image.raveos.com/tools/fix-disk-step2.sh | /bin/sh -s
5. Wait for the device to reboot

16. A NEW VERSION OF THE MINER HAS BEEN RELEASED. DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD A NEW VERSION OF THE SYSTEM/UPDATE IT?

No. To use the new version of the miner, just add it for the coin in your wallet.
Wallets — Edit Wallet — Edit Coin — Please select miner.

Add the miner. After that, you can select it from the list in the Mining section on your rig’s page.

17. WHY IS THE HASHRATE DISPLAYED INCORRECTLY ON THE POOL SIDE?

The pool calculates the hashrate based on the shares you found for a certain period of time. Pool doesn’t know what your current hashrate is, it only assumes based on the number of accepted shares.

18. WHY DOES MY HASHRATE WATCHDOG NOT WORK CORRECTLY?

The watchdog on the Settings tab looks at the task (each separately), if there are 2 tasks, i.e. one for NVIDIA and one for AMD, then it considers that the hash is lower (since it sees not the general one but for each task), issues a low hashrate warning and restarts. We recommend setting up a hashrate watchdog for each card via SET on the Tuning tab.

19. HOW DO I SET ADDITIONAL MINER PARAMETERS?

To set additional parameters for the miner, go to Wallets — Edit Wallet — Edit Coin — Please select miner.

Click on the pencil icon next to the miner, you are interested in. Enter the parameters. Example: -parameter 1

Save the changes in the form and for the coin.

20. WHERE CAN I FIND ALL AVAILABLE VERSIONS OF THE SYSTEM?

You can download the latest stable version via the link on the website. All versions and the list of changes can be found in our telegram channel RaveOS Releases or our website.
There are NO other official repositories.

21. HOW DO I GRANT ACCESS TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT?

Go to the Account section. The icon in the upper-right corner on the dashboard.

1. Go to the Grant Access tab
2. Enter your partner’s username to the Grant Access field, select the appropriate access level (description of access levels on the right) and click Trust user.

Explanations of the designations:

1. This is the status ‘waiting for confirmation’, the user who has been granted access has not yet accepted the request.
2. Cancel granting access.

1. Confirm or cancel the granted access.

After confirmation by the user, the one who granted access will see the status ‘OK’

This feature is disabled for free users. If you have one active worker (FREE tariff plan) and you want to use Grant Access feature, you can enable PRO features in Finance menu, Tariff Plans Tab.

23. HOW CAN I SEND MY WORKER TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT?

Go to Workers menu or to the System Info tab on your worker. Press [Transfer] button. Enter your partner’s login and click [Send worker].
The worker will be transferred with all settings.
You will receive an email to confirm/cancel the transfer. If canceled, the worker will remain on your account.
After your confirmation, the partner will receive a confirmation request by mail and should also confirm/cancel the worker transfer.
In case of cancellation, the worker will remain on your account, if confirmed, it will be transferred completely to the partner’s account.

Attention!
You will not be able to transfer this worker to other accounts for 3 days.

24. HOW DO I GET A LIST OF DRIVERS FOR SUPPORTED WIFI ADAPTERS AND WIRES ADAPTERS?

Unfortunately not all wireless adapters are supported in the system. You can view the list of available drivers by running the find /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/drivers/ -iname «*.ko» | grep wireless

26. HOW CAN I DELETE MY RAVEOS ACCCOUNT?

Go to Account settings to PROFILE tab and press Delete Account.
To remove your account, please follow the confirmation link from the e‑mail. The email was already sent to your email account.
Please notice, that account information will be in pending status for the next 14 days and after that will be removed completely automatically. To cancel that process, please log in using your current credentials.
Important notice! You need to disable all of your online Workers (RIGs) before the account will be deleted to avoid extra charging.

27. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL ABOUT A PASSWORD CHANGE REQUEST, BUT i DID NOT REQUEST A PASSWORD CHANGE.

If you did not send the request, then for security reasons, we recommend changing the password on your RaveOS account and your email.
We also recommend sending a response to the letter with the information «I did not order a password change».

28. HOW CAN I RESTORE 2FA?

To restore 2FA, you need the code that was provided to you at the time of activation of 2FA. If you lose this code, you should contact us at [email protected] specifying detailed information about the account: a list of rigs, cards, approximate registration date, balance account.

30. OVERCLOCKING VIA TUNING-SET

You need to save the changes on the form and on the Tuning tab after entering the data in SET. Click Save button for it. Use the Save&Apply button to apply the entered changes and restart mining.
Attention! oc -sleep . and oc . — these are two different commands. Each command must be entered from a new line.

-tt= — Target temperature (if autofan is enabled). Example: -tt=65
-ttm= — Target memory temperature (if autofan is enabled). Works for AMD Vega/Navi chips and Nvidia GDDR6X GPUs. If set different from 0, -tt is ignored! Example: -ttm=80
-wh= — Watchdog by hashrate at the GPU level (h/s). Example: -wh=30000000 (30Mh/s)

AMD only

-cvddc= — Core voltage in mV (AMD only). Example: -cvddc=800
-mvddc= — Voltage of the memory controller in mV (AMD only). Example: -mvddc=800
-socvddmax= — Maximum SOC voltage in mV (only for Navi10, Navi14). Example: -socvddmax=800

31. HOW TO CREATE THE RULE IN SCHEDULER

To create the rule with the specified parameters, follow these steps:

Press the «Add rule» button in the Scheduler menu.

1. Type the Rule name. Choose either the «workers» or «clusters» option and select the workers or clusters you want to run the rule on.
2. Select the command you want to run, such as «miner», «stop», «reboot» or «shutdown».
3. Select the Start date and set the Timezone according to your location.
4. Run at. Set the specific time of day you want the rule to start running.
5. Set Repeat options: Choose how often you want the rule to repeat, such as once, daily, or weekly (with checkboxes for selecting specific days). Examples:
   • «weekly» with Monday and Wednesday selected means the rule will run on those two days each week.
6. Set End repeat options: Choose when you want the rule to stop repeating, such as never, after a certain number of times, or on a specific date.

Once you have created the rule, you can edit it, copy it to create a new one, remove it, or turn it on/off as needed.

За альты я собственно не сильно то и переживаю, ибо у меня их не так уж и много. Эфира правда есть на приличную сумму, но это на всякий случай, основную ставку на него я не делаю и сливать его не спешу. А биток я буду ждать до посинения, ближайший халвинг должен показать его потенциал.

в сатошной паре на продажу по 1 сатоши уже на 17 битков набралось, не такая уж маленькая сумма. в остальным парах действительно по мелочам все, до 1000 долларов хватит все выкупить.

сейчас растет даже то, что активностью похвастаться не может. та же селестия уже 6 долларов стоит, а была 2. хотя транзакций в блокчейне вообще мизер.

сейчас даже нормальные проекты урезают награды и мутят разные вещи ) на виртуал версионс тоже обещали раздавать по 25 % награды 4 месяца подряд, вчера дали 2 награду и сказали что уже отдали 100 % ) а о менее известных и говорить нечего, там вообще кидалово стало нормой, их же никто не контролирует, был бы лайт в зили, или любой другой актив из топа, то залетали бы многие, но там только начинающие, поэтому и скамят часто )

Обидно будет, три года, а кто и больше отдали форуму, а тут такое. Я все же надеюсь, что разум возобладает над глупостью и займутся форумом. Меня это тоже удивляет, ведь все для этого уже сделано, осталось желание где-то найти �� Но видимо создателям есть чем заниматься.

Вот именно, пока могут драть комиссию с основной сети, будут это делать. А вот когда битком можно будет расплачиваться, вопрос интересный. Это даже возможно на фуд перед бычкой. Манипулятор хочет, чтобы как можно больше людей на страхе слили. И многие ведь поведутся.

В таком случае как-то нужно пробиваться через службу поддержки. Но я ещё давно сделал верификацию, был глуп. Зато теперь пользуюсь, пока никто ничего не предъявлял. Да и что предъявлять с моими суммами��

Да, за биток многие держатся. Но тут вроде как некоторые эксперты думают, что скоро будет сильное падение. Я представляю, если биток упадёт процентов на 20, то насколько альты упадут.

Будем думать, что на НГ всё закончится хорошо как и в целом в начале 24-го года, где Биток, хотя бы сможет пойти за 45 к$ и СЕК не создаст ещё каких-нибудь проблем. А там и мини булранчик может прийти, где и некоторые альты можно будет фиксануть.

Тут странностей очень много в особенности в самих действиях этих регуляторов. Вон там СЕК сам не знает чего вообще хочет, типа они главные в направлении, а в результности когда дело доходит до судов, то нет никакой весомой аргументации и только статус, который они несут на дно. С Риплом это да согласен с вами, на этом спектакле ещё и денег не хило зарабатывают их разрабы.

сначала я не могла зайти к подруге в комнату, типо не работает инет. хотя у меня все остальное грузило. потом вообще я не смогла найти рейв в эпп сторе. это сбой или санкции?

Rave os не отображает данных майнинга, пишет что не в сети, а по факту все работает на пулах все видно. Вышел из профиля на rave теперь даже не заходит. Все нормально с сервером?

❗️ Решение проблемы с подключением ригов❗️

Есть два варианта решения:

1. Измените параметр MTU в настройках вашего роутера на значение 1472 в настройках для интернет-соединения WAN или PPPoE. После изменения сохраните настройки и перезагрузите роутер.

Смотрите скриншоты для более подробной инструкции.

2. Второй вариант менее предпочтительный, можно изменить параметр MTU непосредственно на риге. Для этого в консоли рига введите команду net далее E или W если у вас wifi-> D -> 1472.

RaveOS не работает.
Тоже сначала просто то офлайн, то онлайн. Но на пул всё приходило. Теперь даже когда риги онлайн, майнер не стартует. Второй день такая ерунда. А домашний комп с одной видяхой работает без сбоев.

Глюк в Rave os
Такая же байда с 13.04.23. На пуле все норм. Значит по факту они не уходят в оффлайн, иначе добытых монет было раза в два меньше. Какой-то глюк операционки, я так понимаю. Обновить версию тоже не получается, после ввода логин и пароля в консоли — глухо. И деньги за воркеры снимают меньше))) они же в оффлайне

!MANDATORY UPGRADE FOR DYNEX MINING!

I got informed by Dynex developers that after the optimisations i made in previous miner version, some of the jobs they tested returned invalid pouw solutions.
Because of the changes i had to make to fix the problem, hashrate decreased on most of the GPU’s. (except AMD RDNA2 GPUs which actually got an increase in hashrate from the new code)
NVIDIA GPU’s got the biggest hit.

To be able to continue mining, users MUST upgrade to this version (v 2.3.8) as soon as possible!
Older versions will stop working in a few days (i don’t know the exact date — Dynex team will make that decision).

Added support for algorithm ‘dynex’ on NVIDIA GPUs

Performance improvement on algorithm ‘dynex’ on AMD GPUs

Removed Dynex optimised dual kernels

Lowered devfee for algorithm ‘ethashb3’ to standard 0.85%

Added parameter ‘—busy-wait-recheck’ which sets the NVIDIA/INTEL GPUs OpenCL busy wait recheck value per algorithm*

Nvidia’s OpenCL implementation has a bug known for many years which manifests in the way of having higher CPU usage (LA — load average) than it should be.
This will probably never get fixed, and its present only in their OpenCL implementation, but not in CUDA.
SRBMiner uses OpenCL for NVIDIA, and a workaround for this bug is used since the addition of NVIDIA support, but doing so (lowering/fixing the CPU usage bug) comes with a penalty, which is lower hashrate in some cases.
Every rig behaves differently depending on the CPU and number of GPU’s used on it.
Unfortunately lowering the CPU usage also might lower the hashrate too, so finding an optimal ‘golden middle’ is important.

—busy-wait-recheck accepts values from 0.01 to 0.99 -> lower the value, higher the CPU usage will be, which allows for higher hashrate

Default value of —busy-wait-recheck is 0.3, which might or might not be the best value for your rig.

As a first step, set ‘—busy-wait-recheck 0.01’ to get the maximum hashrate, then increase the value of —busy-wait-recheck and do some tests.
Experiment and try out different values to find an acceptable hashrate / CPU LA ratio.
