RQT_CLOSE when flashing TWRP into Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) with Odin
I am trying to flash TWRP into my Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) based on official instructions from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a8-2018/samsung-galaxy-a8-2018-roms-kernels-recoveries—other-development/recovery-twrp-3-2-2-0-galaxy-a8-2018-t3818201 I have followed the instructions carefully and repeated several times. I initially tried things on linux with adb and heimdall, however heimdall was failing to flash, so I returned back to the exact Windows instructions using Odin3 v3.13.1. When I try to flash twrp-3.4.0-0-jackpotlte.img.tar into my Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) aka SM-A530F, Odin fails consistently with this log:
Added!! Odin engine v(ID:3.1301).. File analysis.. Total Binary size: 35 M SetupConnection.. Initialzation.. Get PIT for mapping.. Firmware update start.. NAND Write Start!! SingleDownload. recovery.img RQT_CLOSE !! Complete(Write) operation failed. All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1) Removed!! I believe my phone is not RMM locked because I see Developer Options in my settings. I tried the process with OEM unlocking enabled and disabled in my phone Dev Options. No success yet. I googled the issue for a few hours, however people mostly report seeing RQT_CLOSE when phone is RMM locked, which I believe is not my case. Maybe this is related to the recent Android update I installed yesterday. Phone software:

Tried to install TWRP via Odin in order to start the rooting process on my new Note 5 (9200), but I am getting an error in Odin (RQT_ClOSE. ) and on the phone from the normal Download mode screen it turns to another one which writes something in chinese. Am I doing something wrong?
Tried same process on two different pcs, with two different cables and different files.

I had the same problem. What I did was download the CROM service app from the Samsung app store, open it and I will tell you can now install custom roms. also make sure OEM Unlock and USB debugging is enable.

Установка TWRP recovery и получение рут прав на Galaxy J6 (2018)
Способ подходит только для модели SM-J600F с любой из прошивок Android Oreo! В процессе получения рут прав все ваши личные данные с внутренней памяти устройства будут удалены и на телефоне будет произведён полный сброс! Не забудьте сделать бэкап своих контактов, фото и т.д.
Инструкция
1. Открыть опции для разработчика в меню настроек. Для этого нужно зайти в Настройки ->> Cведения о телефоне ->> Cведения о ПО ->> тапнуть пальцем 7 раз по «Номер сборки».
2. Активировать заводскую разблокировку в опциях для разработчика. Для этого нужно зайти в Настройки ->> Параметры разработчика ->> включить «Заводская разблокировка OEM (Разблокировка предусмотренная производителем)».
3. Скачать архив files_for_root_SM-J600F.zip (прикреплён к этому посту) и распаковать его на компьютере. Архивы: RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2.zip и Magisk-v16.0.zip сразу поместить на внешнюю карту памяти телефона (на флешку microsd).
4. Установить драйвера.
5. Запустить Odin.exe из папки Odin. Перейти во вкладку Options и снять галочку с пункта «Auto Reboot». Затем нажать на кнопку «AP» и выбрать файл TWRP_3.2.2-0_j6lte_20180722.tar из папки files_for_root_SM-J600F.
6. Перевести смартфон в режим «Download Mode». Для этого на выключенном телефоне нужно зажать и удерживать вместе кнопки громкости и подключить телефон к ПК. Как увидите заставку — кнопки отпустить, после чего появится окно с предупреждением — отпустить кнопки и один раз нажать на кнопку увеличения громкости.
7. Подключить телефон в таком состоянии к компьютеру. В Odin должен будет загореться индикатор COM port.
8. Нажать на Start в Odin и дождаться прошивки TWRP (прошивается быстро).
9. Отключить телефон от компьютера. Зажать кнопки ЗВУК ВНИЗ + ПИТАНИЕ и как только экран погаснет — СРАЗУ переместить палец с кнопки уменьшения громкости на кнопку увеличения (ЗВУК ВВЕРХ), держать их до тех пор, пока не запустится recovery.
10. Разрешить модифицировать раздел системы передвинув ползунок внизу экрана (swipe to allow modifications).
11. Выбрать пункт «Wipe» (Очистка) -> нажать кнопку «format data» и ввести yes на клавиатуре. Дождаться окончания форматирования.
12. Перезапустить recovery. Для этого нужно вернуться в главное меню, выбрать пункт «Reboot» -> затем выбрать «Recovery».
13. Выбрать пункт Install (Установка) -> выбрать архив RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2.zip -> установить сделав свайп внизу экрана. Затем установить архив Magisk-v16.0.zip (таким же образом, через пункт «Install») и после его установки нажать на «reboot system». После проделанных манипуляций телефон загрузится в чистую систему с рутом на борту.

hi all
i did have last time a problem when i did try to restor an galaxsy s5 neo
i get a fail error by odin » rqt close» and on the phone show in green fap lock
didtry all to find out till i find the solution and now my s5 neo work perfect
the trick connsite just to flash the mobile with pit file alone
for people wich search pit files and also all complete files for samusng mobiles
only one website wich give u this for free
