How to Reset Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
To reset your Binance account’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you need to submit a video to the Customer Service team to verify your request.
1. What should I include in the video?
1.1 Sit in front of the camera. You need to show your face clearly and hold the information page of your ID document;
Please note that if you cannot speak English, you can copy the English statement below and change the date, the email address, and the 2FA device you want to reset. Then, hold the statement in front of the camera while recording the video, and explain the content in your local language.
1.2 Speak a statement into the camera to verify your identity, such as:
«Today is DD-MM-YYYY, I’m applying to reset the Google/SMS/Email security verification (2FA) for my account. I confirm that it is my activity, and I am contacting Binance customer service to reset Google/SMS/Email security verification for my Binance account XXXXX@XXXXX.com.»
1.3 Submit the video along with the picture of your ID card/driver’s license/passport you showed in the video. Please do not put watermarks on your videos and do not edit your videos.
Please note that you should include:
- Today’s date;
- Your request (to reset your 2FA);
- A clear confirmation that you authorize this activity;
- A statement of your purpose;
- Your Binance account email address.

2. Answer security questions (optional)
Some users might need to answer security questions about:
- Account registration date
- Account registration IP
If you are able to provide the above information at the same time, it can help us confirm your identity and speed up the review process. You can find it in the registration email with the subject line “[Binance] Confirm your Registration From XXX (IP address) — XXX (date)”.

Обратите внимание, что видео с заявкой должно включать:
- сегодняшнюю дату;
- ваш запрос (сброс двухфакторной аутентификации);
- четкое подтверждение того, что вы разрешаете данное действие;
- подтверждение цели вашего обращения;
- адрес электронной почты вашей учетной записи Binance.

2. Ответьте на контрольные вопросы (опционально)

HELP PLEASE!
Can Anyone please tell me how to reset my Binance.us login Google Authenticator, or direct me to the correct web page for help?
I already contacted Binance, Filed a ticket and no answer for days, not even confirmation or acknowledging they have received my request.
I had factory reset my phone and Google 2FA is not working anymore. I have spend hours looking everywhere on both Binance and Binance.us and on the internet for answers and the only link that supposed to explains how to do it, lists steps that are not available.
«Navigate to the Binance login page and log in with your Binance account email address and password. On the Security verification page, click on 【Security verification unavailable?】to go to the next step. «
On the Login Page is nowhere to be found: 【Security verification unavailable?】
Not sure why was it removed, but I really need to fix this so I can access my account.
I can’t imagine I am the only one that this has happened to and do not understand why Binance.us is not providing on their help/support page any correct info in regards to this. (unless I missed something) I understand they are answering overwhelming amounts of questions right now, but some could probably be avoided if the users have access to the correct information.

How to enable 2FA for Binance
The best way to manage all your 2FA accounts is to use the Authy app. It enables you to have a single mobile app for all your 2FA accounts and you can sync them across multiple devices, even accessing them on the desktop. Install Authy on your device by searching for it in your device’s app store.
Important: If any sites prompt you to use Google Authenticator for two-factor authentication, note that you can always substitute the Authy 2FA app instead. Although they work in similar ways, Authy is more feature-rich and allows for multi-device syncing, cloud-backups, and easier account recovery should you change or lose your phone or device. Locate 2FA
In order to make withdrawals from your Binance account, you are required to set up two-factor authentication. Each time you sign in you will be reminded to enable 2FA.
Binance offers SMS-based 2FA and app-based 2FA options. And although they promote Google Authenticator, remember that you can use Authy 2FA instead. You will locate the beginning of this process after you sign in, on the lower right quadrant of your account settings page.
On the next slide, you’ll be prompted to download the 2FA app. If you haven’t downloaded Authy yet, do so here: https://authy.com/download/ When ready, click “Next Step.”
Enable 2FA
On the next screen, you will see a QR code that you will need to capture with the Authy app. Launch Authy on your phone while you leave this page open. On your device’s Authy app, Click ‘Add Account’ at the bottom.
You’ll be prompted to hold your phone up to your computer to scan the QR code. Capture the QR code that was displayed in your terminal. When capture is completed, Authy will automatically prompt you to name your new account (we’ll soon add a Binance logo, too, so this will be automatic). After you’ve named it, click ‘Done’.
You will now see a Binance 2FA account in your Authy app.
Finish Setup
Back on your Binance page, you’ll be prompted to make note of your 16-digit alpha-numeric backup code. Copy this down and keep it safe, you will need it if you ever lose your device. Once copied, click “Next Step.”
To complete setup, you must re-enter:
- your 16 digit key
- your Binance log-in password
- and the Binance 2FA key from your Authy device
When completed, click “Enable Google Authentication.”
Your Binance account will now show that you have enabled two-factor authentication.
