Natural Pools of Caixa D’Aço Trail in Trindade
Easy trail located in the village of Trindade, in Paraty (RJ). The beautiful natural pools of the Caixa D’Aço (or Cachadaço) are famous for their áclear and warm waters.

Lowest point 2 mThis beautiful region is located in the lower part of the Serra da Bocaina National Park, surrounded by a rich vegetation of the Atlantic Forest, and with the mountains of the Serra do Mar in the background.
Although it is possible to reach the natural pools by boat, é much cooler to go by trail and thus have an even deeper contact with nature. The trail also passes by other beautiful attractions of the village of Trindade that à worth being visited, as the Praia do Meio and Praia da Caixa D’Aço. The island of Trindade and the natural monument Cabeça do Índio, which divides the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, can also be spotted along the way.

How to get there: From Paraty, take a Bus to Trindade (3-5 R$) – 30 to 45 minutes What to do in Trindade: Praia do Cepilho, Praia do Cachadaço, Piscine natuelle do Cachadaço.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7PN7zMfhY4 Trindade is incredible because of the beauty of its beaches. From Paraty, it is largely possible to do Trindade in one day.
We had taken the bus for the occasion around 9 am to arrive around 9:40 am. Once there we headed to the beach of Cachadaço. To reach the natural pool you have to walk along the beach of Cachadaço and take a path inland for 20-30 minutes. 
The whole thing lasts an hour, but the natural pool is splendid! Although many people stay and wade in this seawater pool formed by the large rocks that border it, the setting is beautiful and it’s worth a visit!! It is also possible to get there or return by «boat» from the beginning of the beach of Cachadaço but the go costs 10R$ and the setting is idyllic to go there by walking.
