После Общей выручки в Income Statement идет пункт Cost of Revenue. Это Себестоимость продаж. С понятием себестоимость знакомы практически все. Это все расходы, которые были понесены для того, чтобы произвести продукт или услугу.
Напрямую величина этого показателя связана с Общей выручкой, потому что оба показателя зависят от объема произведенных услуг. Чем больше товара произведено и продано, тем выше себестоимость.

Еще раз напомним, что величина эта не постоянная, а переменная и зависит от объема проданных товаров/услуг. Что включают в себестоимость:

Самое главное при чтении и составлении отчета помнить, что Cost of Revenue (можно встретить название GOGS) включает в себя только проданные товары. Все запасы, которые остались на складе на конец периода не учитываются, так как они еще не проданы. Также сюда не входят операционные расходы на ведение бизнеса.
Составление Income Statement или Отчета о прибылях и убытках может быть как по международным стандартам (МФСО или GAAP), так и по внутренним стандартам страны. Бухгалтеры всегда следуют правилам этих стандартов и включают в себестоимость продаж только те статьи, которые требуются.
