To optimize battery performance and improve battery life, please refer to the instructions below.
1. Change User Scenario in Dragon Center/ Creator Center/ MSI Center/ MSI Center Pro.
— For the laptops supporting UWP version Dragon Center/ Creator Center/ MSI Center/ MSI Center Pro, go to User Scenario and select “Super Battery” mode.
— For the laptops supporting Win32 version Dragon Center/ Creator Center, go to “System Tuner” tab and select ECO / Super Battery in “Shift” mode.
2. Reduce the display brightness: Adjust the brightness in Windows Quick Settings or use function keys.
3. Turn off the applications which are not in use: Close the unused programs and the background processes in the system tray.
4. Remove the peripherals which are not in use: Unplug the unused external devices including external monitors, external sound card, or flash drives.
5. Turn off the lighting devices: Use function keys to disable the keyboard lighting and disable the other lighting devices in SteelSeries Engine/ SteelSeries GG.
6. Change Windows Power Plan: Apply power efficiency mode.
— For Windows 10 operating system, click on the battery icon in the system tray and drag the slider to “Better battery”.
— For Windows 11 operating system, go to Settings > System > Power & battery, apply “Best power efficiency”.
7. Enable power saver mode: To conserve more battery power, enable power saver mode to decrease display brightness, and limit notifications and background activity.
— For Windows 10 operating system, click on the Notification Center and enable “Battery saver”.
— For Windows 11 operating system, click on the Quick Settings and enable “Battery saver”.
8. Disable WiFi, Bluetooth, Location services if not in use:
— For Windows 10 operating system, turn off Bluetooth, WiFi, and Location in the Notification Center if not in use.
— For Windows 11 operating system, turn off Bluetooth and WiFi in Quick Settings if not in use, and go to Settings > Privacy & security > Location, then disable Location services.

Добрый день! При включенном ноутбуке после отключения и включения в розетку зарядки, где то на 1-2 секунды появляется черный экран. Может кто то сталкивался? Это как нибудь лечится?

Привет. ВЫКЛ/ВКЛ дисплея ноутбука при отсоединении и подсоединении блока питания ноутбука (или отключение/подключение блока питания ноутбука в розетку ) происходит переключение частоты дискретизации монитора, за это отвечает Display Power Saver в MSI Center, когда она включена то при работе от аккумулятора монитор снижает частоту дискретизации до 60Гц в целях экономии энергии, при подключении ноута в розетку возвращается максимальная частота. Если ноутом часто пользуетесь от аккумулятора и очень важна автономность то рекомендую Display Power Saver оставить включённым, заметно увеличит автономность. Так что это не баг и не дефект, но всегда можно его отключить если мешает.
‘Display Power Saver’ no longer an option in MSI Center
I recently noticed that my GE67HX does not automatically switch refresh rate once the laptop gets unplugged/plugged in; the screen stays on high refresh rate even when running on battery.
So I opened MSI Center and noticed that the ‘Display Power Saver’ feature is now completely gone from the General Settings section.
MSI Center did receive an update not too long ago and the problem has occurred since then now that I think about it.
Hopefully the update was not the cause of this and getting the option for Display Power Saver back is relatively straightforward.
If the update was the cause of this, I hope MSI can add this feature back.
Has anyone else encountered this same problem? Please let me know, as I’ve spent a long time finding the cause of this issue. I haven’t found anyone else encountering this same issue yet.

I do have «Display Power Saver» option there. I am using MSI Center 2.0.10.0.
Did you try to clean install MSI Center? The problem might be related to the improper software installation.

EDIT: After switching Discrete Graphics mode back to MSHybrid Graphics mode, the option disappears again.
EDIT 2: Waiting about 10 minutes and it’s back like it’s supposed to, guess the clean reinstall did work after all. There’s no consistency in this software.
Thank you for your reply! I have tried a clean reinstall of MSI Center by using the MSI Center Uninstaller tool (GUI & SDK, then Cache & Storage) but even after this clean reinstall the option for Display Power Saver did not come back even after multiple reboots.
But here’s the funny part, I switched to Discrete Graphics mode after which I turned on Windows HDR and low and behold; for some weird reason the Display Power Saver is back!
I can’t believe such a quirkiness in the software could cause an issue like this.
MSI really has to work on their software.
